AN: Sorry this took me so long. I wan't sure how I was going to write this so it took me some time to plan it all. I hope you enjoy :)
The day of the wedding came and everyone were happy but nervous. Preparations were made and everything was checked up on. Lea and Dianna weren’t allowed to see each other still; Chris and Jon were so strict about these old-fashioned wedding traditions.
Unfortunately, Lea had some small scenes to shoot before she’s ready to go get in her dress and get married to the love of her life. Work that day was like hell to her. Hours passed so slow and all she could think of was Dianna smiling at her from the aisle, looking stunning as usual and saying “I do” like she really means it.
Ryan was kind of frustrated that Lea wasn’t concentrating at all this day but he kept making her repeat the solo scenes until she got them right so it took them an extra hour or two, making Lea run a bit late. As soon as she finished the scene, she literally ran out of the studio to her car. She kept driving for a while until she came to traffic.
Lea huffed loudly in her car, impatient with the traffic. She looked at her watch God damn it, I’m going to be late and she’ll think I don’t want to be with her and break down thought Lea. She waited until the traffic moved after 20 minutes and drove dangerously fast that she was sure she was going to get a ticket.
She made it to Jon’s house, where she was supposed to get dressed and head to the wedding from there. Being the good friend as always, Jon was still in his apartment, waiting to help Lea look stunning.
She did have to say, those theatre years taught him to do make up quick. He made her get all fancy in less than 30 minutes, dress and all.
Jon drove her to the wedding, stopping at a few spots because of traffic again. They were already running 20 minutes late.
“Dianna is going to be FURIOUS!” said Lea, almost sure of her words.
“Yeah. I called Chris, he said she’s still standing there in the aisle, still waiting for you and she doesn’t look patient or happy either” he said while speeding again, in hope to get them there faster.
“She’s going to kill me for sure”
“Well, I’d say yes but I’m sure she loves you too much to do that” said Jon with a smile.
Lea only had time to give him a small smile before he pulled up near the park. She immediately saw her dad waiting for her. Hopping out of the car quickly, she met her father with a sweet hug and a kiss on the cheek.
“Come on, baby. You don’t want to keep your future wife waiting” said her dad.
Lea smiled, taking her father’s arm before saying “Yeah. I don’t to keep myself waiting either."
Meanwhile, Dianna was standing at the aisle, in front of all of their friends, still waiting for the girl who’s still her girlfriend.
Dianna glanced over at Kevin, showing him how unhappy she was at the moment and also giving him the “She doesn’t want to marry me” look. All the Kevin did was give her a smile and shook his head, assuring her that Lea will be here because he knew she wanted to. She looked down, taking a couple of deep breaths in an attempt not to cry. She did everything for Lea; she opened her heart for her. She even gave her a freaking romantic proposal and still the other girl doesn’t show for their own wedding.
Dianna was cut out of her thoughts by the sound of people moving and gasping. Dianna lifted her head up as of curiosity to what her friends were gasping at. Her eyes met the most beautiful sight she’s ever seen in her life. Lea was walking down to her, arms linked with her dad and looking like a goddess. She had a strapless dress on that showed not too much of her legs but still not too little. The short brunette was beaming at Dianna but she still had an apologizing look in her eyes.
Lea’s dad reached where Dianna was standing and said while handing his daughter over to her love “Take good care of her Dianna.”
Dianna just smiled and gave him a reassuring nod. She looked over at Lea and whispered to her “I thought you weren’t coming”
Lea gave a weak smile before saying “and miss this kicking party? No way!”. Dianna raised her eyebrow in a Quinn-like at Lea.
Lea sighed in a defeated manner and whispered “okay okay. I’m sorry. There was a lot of traffic and I ran late.”. Dianna only smiled to that, kind of accepting Lea’s apology but she knew she’s going to torture her beautifully later and the other girl had no idea what she got into.
They were both brought back to reality with some people clearing their throats. Lea glanced over at the crowd as Jon joined in and gave him a small smile. He gave her a little wave back. She could also hear Dianna taking a very deep breathe and stare at her with love.
Lea looked back at Dianna and smiled “Let’s do this already. I’m getting impatient”. Dianna held Lea’s hands and nodded. Lea was pretty sure that Dianna was holding her breath at this point.
Lea started with the vows. Taking a deep breath and saying “Dianna Agron, I promise to love you forever, no matter what comes between us. Even though you drive me mad sometimes, for several reasons, either being so beautifully jealous or being extremely gorgeous that I can’t feel my feet on the ground anymore. I’ll support you in the good and bad times and I will love you until the day I stop breathing.”
Dianna had small tears in her eyes. She sniffed and said “Lea Michele Sarfati, I promise to love you forever too. I’ll be faithful to you as long as I live, I’ll be the shoulder you could lean on and cry or just rest. I will never be afraid of loving you with all of my heart again. I let go of you once but I realized what a fool I was being and I’ll never ever repeat that mistake again. I can proudly tell you that my heart will always beat, not a normal beat, but saying your name with every single beat. I love you more than anything, I swear.”
Lea was now sniffing so hard in an attempt to not ruin her makeup. Dianna just smiled and reached up, wiping the single tear that escaped Lea’s eye. They were announced wives and Dianna pulled Lea in for the softest, most loving kiss they’ve ever shared. She could feel Lea melting in her arms but she loved the way it felt. She loved being reminded how the other girl feels for her every now and then.
They broke the kiss to be met by a HUGE wave of clapping coming from the crowd. The girls were crying joined by Chris and Jon and it was super adorable even though Dianna was sure that Lea didn’t like seeing Jon crying.
Dianna took Lea by the hand and sat her next to Jon, whispering “Wait here. I have a surprise for you”. She could see Lea’s eyes lightening with excitement so she rewarded the woman who’s called her wife now with a peck on the lips.
She went over to the DJ and whispered something to him. He smiled before getting out a record and putting it on as she grabbed the mic. She saw Lea’s eyes growing wide and she just smiled. She was joined in a minute by Mark since she needed him to play the guitar. The music played, it was a song that Lea didn’t recognize but every follower of her tumblr did.
Dianna belted out the lyrics of “Easier than breathing” in the most angelic voice Lea has ever heard. It made her feel so loved and cared for. Tears built up in her eyes again as Dianna finished the song so smoothly. She got up and met her wife with a loving kiss and a big hug. They started slow dancing after, joined by their friends around them. Naya was dancing with Heather, both beaming. Jon was strangely dancing with Chris, it kind of looked nice. Kevin was dancing with Jenna.
“I love you so much, Agronsky” said Lea, burying her head into Dianna’s neck.
Dianna smiled and said “I love you too, Sarfati…I mean Michele” in a humoring way. Lea groaned lightly before saying “You’re such a big tease.”.
Dianna kissed Lea’s head this time, whispering “A tease that loves you with all of her heart”. She could feel Lea beaming against her neck.
The festival was overall awesome and everyone had fun. The Glee cast, their families and friends waved goodbye at them as they drove away in their limo that says “Just Married”
