Lea woke up to the sound of the alarm, shutting it off quickly so Dianna could get a bit more sleep. She looked at the other girl, who was sleeping peacefully, her hair spread on the pillow. Lea couldn’t help but compare her lover to the sleeping beauty. She could also remember Dianna nearly begging her to stay at her place for a while after they returned from D.C; she couldn’t refuse the offer when Dianna put on her perfect puppy face. Slowly, Lea leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on Dianna’s nose, afraid she will wake the girl up if she actually kissed her. She finally got up and headed to the bathroom for a much needed shower. She put on a t-shirt and one of her mini shorts, heading to the kitchen to get her dose of coffee.
After 30 minutes, she was still looking all over the kitchen for a grain of coffee but couldn’t find any. She leaned forward against the sink in defeat and let out a groan. A minute later, she found warm arms wrapping around her from behind. Dianna was still sleepy and it was the most adorable thing in the world but she was in no mood for that. Pressing a soft kiss on her lady’s neck, Dianna mumbled “Morning, gorgeous”.
Lea turned around to face Dianna, wrapping her arms around her waist and hiding herself in the other girl’s embrace, she was never more thankful for the height difference.
Dianna was startled for a second from Lea’s behavior but she gladly embraced with smaller girl with love. She kissed the top of Lea’s head, somehow a little more awake now, before saying “You okay, baby?”
“I can’t find any coffee” Lea moaned from her position, resting her head against Dianna’s chest and listening to her lover’s heartbeats. Dianna couldn’t help herself but chuckle, she never knew Lea would be that grumpy with no coffee, so she decided to tease her lover a bit more.
“And that’s why you’re so grumpy?” she said while raising her perfect eyebrow.
“Yes, now we need to go grocery shopping and I mean now!” Groaned Lea in frustration.
“When you’re in those shorts? Yeah, I don’t think so, baby.”, Lea looked up at Dianna “And why not?”. Dianna smiled and whispered in Lea’s ear “Because every single person will be staring at your perfect legs, besides, I don’t think I’ll behave myself either”. Lea slapped Dianna’s arm playfully, blushing so hard before burying her face into Dianna’s shoulder and moaning in frustration “Di! This is no time to talk about sexytimes. I need my coffee!”
“And if I don’t get you coffee?” Said Dianna while smirking playfully.
Lea thought for a minute that if the other girl wants to play dirty than she will too. “Then no sexytimes for you!”
Dianna’s eyes widened “ever?!”
Lea smirked at her little victory “ever”
Dianna snorted “Pfft, you’ll come around in a day or two. We both know you’re too gay for me to do that. Especially when I wear those sweatpants to dance rehearsals”
Lea started pounding on Dianna’s shoulder, so frustrated and teased by the other girl’s attitude “Di! I mean it, stop teasing me!”
Dianna just laughed sincerely, grabbing the shorter girl’s wrists and kissing her. Lea could have sworn she almost forgot why she was frustrated at the first place; she could have also sworn that her feet were not on the ground any more. Dianna broke the kiss in a minute to only receive a protesting moan from Lea. She laughed again “Now you don’t want coffee?”
Lea rolled her eyes “Ugh! You’re such a tease, Agron. Can we go get the damned coffee now?”. Dianna slid her hands down Lea’s body, slowly going to wrap her arms around her waist. Lea shivered at the contact of their skin, even after a year of being together, Dianna still did that to her.
Dianna kissed her on the forehead, keeping her lips there and mumbling “We should dress appropriately first”. Lea had her eyes closed, enjoying the closeness and the intimacy between the two of them “Okay, let’s do that.”. The next second, Dianna had her back towards Lea, with her hands prepared “Hop on, Child star!”. Lea smiled before hopping on Dianna’s back as the other girl gave her a piggy back ride to the bedroom.
After getting dressed in a painfully long time, since Ms. Agron, as Lea called her, couldn’t keep her eyes off the other girl, not that Lea minded it but right now she was desperate for coffee.
In the supermarket, Lea kept whining about wanting to sit in the trolley, getting Dianna to laugh every single time. The last time Lea attempted to ask to sit in the trolley, Dianna laughed again and said “I don’t think that’s happening baby. I know you’re a tiny delicious muffin but that’s not a reason to let you sit in the trolley.” She smiled again and carried on “Besides, I don’t think anyone would appreciate see the glee female lead sitting in a trolley like a little child when she’s supposed to be shopping with her girlfriend”.
Lea groaned “They don’t even know you’re mine! Thanks to Ryan Murphy”. Dianna looked down for a second, her hair hiding her emotion “Let’s just not go there, okay baby? Please.”. Lea walked over to Dianna, cuddling her and saying “I’m so sorry baby. I didn’t mean to.”. Dianna just kissed the side of Lea’s head and mumbled “It’s okay. I love you”. Lea whispered her “I love you too” back before they carried on with their shopping. A fan approached them every now and then, yet Lea didn’t let go of Dianna’s hand for a second, they did receive raised eyebrows from a couple of fans but Lea didn’t seem to care at all. Dianna smiled every single time a fan approached them and Lea didn’t let go of her hand. She knew Lea wanted them to be out in public and still feel together. That’s the only thing that mattered to her, Lea wanting them to show the world how much they love each other and not please their producers. That made her day go on smoothly, only thinking about how much the other girl loves her. She was thankful she followed her instinct and auditioned for glee, not only she was rewarded by a huge success, but also with a person she could call the love of her life.
