I watched Hot Fuzz and the Fountain with Lauren and Josh yesterday. it was fun, and those movies are great. fuck whoever gave the Fountain bad reviews. it was pretentious, sure, but still undeniably amazing. if it lacked pretentiousness it probably wouldn't be as good ( Read more... ) -

A lot of kids write poetry, but they don't do it for the sake of other people reading it, and even if they do show it to others, it's because they want someone else to either a) acknowledge the "feelings" they "expressed" in their poem, or b) want their ego stroked. wowww. people are pretty serious about myspace, apparently. I have a few friends (the ones from Chicopee, that I am nice to but secretly annoyed by) who argue through myspace bulletins. they can't discuss their problems privately and rationally! they have to argue with and insult each other where everyone else can see. it's funny as hell, honestly ( Read more... )
