eHow was really easy. All you had to do was write and submit, and you were done. Of course, if you wanted to make any actual money, you also did lots of SEO research and article promotion, plus you could include pictures of your how-to steps - but it wasn't required ( Read more... )

I've been writing at Bright Hub for over 3 years and enjoy it very much. The editors have their own little ways and areas of expertise, but it doesn't hinder my productivity at all. In the Business, Computing and Gaming channels I have written over 200 articles and in every instance I can safely say it never takes 2-3 days (not even 2-3 hours). Rather for most subjects, where the Managing Editor gives me keyword focus and a working title it takes around 45 mins to an hour to produce a good article that is acceptable for publication. Then it goes to the Contributing Editor who is a great help for checking accuracy and optimization, then it's published. It's really that simple ( ... )

Congrats and good for you on being able to crank them out at high speed like that. I can't do them that fast. It takes me 2-3 days each. It takes me about 2 hours to do a DS article. I'm sorry if you don't believe me when I post about my experience on my blog but, that's how it is.
