Dan, I'm with you on Obama. Here's hoping today went well for him.
As long as we're discussing Biden / Dodd / Kucinich, I would throw in Bill Richardson as my second favorite for the Democrats -- I'm impressed with him and, while I'm not on board with all his policies, I'd say he's got a bloody lot more relevant experience than anyone else in the race. (Not that he has much of a chance, unfortunately.)
McCain would be my top pick for the Republicans, with similar reservations as you mentioned. Also, he voted against the DC representation bill, so I really don't think I could bring myself to vote for him in any event. But given the options on that side, I'd least dislike him.
Jon Stewart quote: "I heard Dennis Kucinich say in a debate, 'When I'm president...' and I just wanted to stop him and say, 'Dude.'"
Ack. I did forget Richardson. I didn't really look too closely at him. I'd pretty well decided Obama was my favorite on the Democratic side. The Republican side took a lot more thought.
You forgot Richardson, Dem. I suddenly liked him a lot because he got really mad that Hilary thinks the upcoming Pakistan vote is for Prez and Musharraf is running (wrong in two, Hil).
