I don't think Clinton should drop out yet--but I think she does need to take the math into account as she continues her campaign. I think dropping out is a whole lot better than what one (anonymous) democrat called "the Tonya Harding" strategy. There's the NAMBLA situation and the nuclear option. If she wants to start a delegate fight at the convention, she might have a 1 in 3 chance of winning--particularly if she picks up speed in the last few contests. She's emphasized that pledged delegates aren't actually pledged. Then she'll tell everybody that she can carry Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida in November. I think that's a pretty good argument--if she can make it persuasively.

It looks like Obama weathered the Wright thing--so I think he'll get a bit closer in Pennsylvania than he is now. Even Newt Gingrich started talking about race in (from the snips I read) a pretty reasonable manner--so Obama might end up gaining ground on the latest race-related spat. I don't mind if she sticks around--but she should do so in a way that either goes after McCain (or, if she wants to split the Democrats, is open about that desire.)
