Ya, the prof spoke about all the engraving work, how time-consuming each piece was. It's amazing, really.

My favourite at the moment is The Divine Image for how it represents god and man as being one and the same. That the god we make comes from within ourselves. It's this interesting blend of personal spirituality that's almost atheistic, but above all inclusionist.

The painted engravings are really cool, especially given what he was working with.

I don't think the Earl of Rochester is on the syllabus. I'll have to look him up.
