Use the line, 'Is it supposed to be that color?'
“Is it supposed to be that color?” Kat asked holding up a pink sock.
“Hu? Is what supposed to be what color?” Shine asked looking up to see what Kat was talking about. Spying the pink sock he turned pink himself. “Yes it is.” He said snatching the sock and looking for the other one and stuffing both in the bottom of the clean clothes basket. He could tell by the curious look on Kat’s face that he wasn’t going to let it go. “It was the last pair I had clean. My mom knitted them, only she knitted some for my sister too, and when she mailed them she mixed up the packages.”
“O good, I was afraid there was something you weren’t telling me.” Kat joked, helping Shine carry the baskets out of the laundry room.
