I completely, utterly, balls out bombed the math test. It was dismal. I'm pretty sure I heard my 8th grade math teacher crying in the back room. I get to go back and take freshman algebra with a bunch of criminals and mentally disabled people. I know this isn't much comfort, but... It's better to test badly and ace the class than to test well and get into a class thats really frustrating and makes you feel stupid over an entire semester...

Also, I think you're brilliant and your cat agrees with me... so buck up little camper! :)

The math will come back quickly to you once you're in the swing of things, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Besides, it's one of those subjects best to ease into it real slow and gentle-like in the first place if you haven't done it in a while.

Also, hooray! I didn't know you were going back to school! That's great!

math sucks but as long as you have a good teacher i think youll be just fine.

If you're in algebra, you're probably ahead of the curve. A LOT of college students need remedial math (read: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing). Don't sweat it.

it's true. my supervisor's wife teaches math at pcc and she's doing just that- teaching adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing to 40 year olds going back to school.
