I don't know what country you're in, but as I said, MFMM has been sold to roughly 120 countries. In the USA you can find it on Netflix, and I believe PBS has been showing it as part of their 'Mystery!' slot. If you have a region-free or region 4 DVD or Blu-ray player, you can order the season 1 and 2 boxsets.
Go watch the show, then tell Australia's ABC channel that you liked it!
Urgh this is amazing: I am so in love with your song choices! Generally, the entire fandom seems so awesome; I've never heard of it before but it seems so awesome :D
Glad you liked the songs - I had to hustle to find a couple. I actually wanted to put in the opening theme as well, as it's very Phryne, but for some reason my computer won't copy the track off my legitimately bought and legally owned CD!
The MFMM fandom is really quite small; but it's full of great people!

Just as a note, the Billy Joel song is called She's Always a Woman ^^ Besides that, such an awesome mix! I don't think choosing songs from another character's point of view can be considered cheating -- sometimes you need an outsider's point of view to better study the character. I loved the consistency of this mix, and loved how it wasn't just playful, but also intense (the Halestorm song comes to mind - I was able to feel that Phryne's love of danger is, well, dangerous). Great job! I'm not familiar with this show, but I already want Australia's ABC to greenlight another season! XD
Arrggghh. I checked about four different sites, and they all give different answers. Maybe I should have tried something officially by Billy Joel?
I'm glad you liked the mix, and that I seem to have managed to portray the many facets of the diamond that is Miss Fisher. It's nice you mentioned the Halestorm track in particular - almost as soon as I heard the song, it said 'Phryne' to me, especially since I first heard it right after Blood on the Wheel screened. I'm glad that you liked the songs from Jack's POV - as I said before, Phryne evokes a wide range of opinions, but of all the characters we see, I do feel that Jack is the only one whose perception of Phyrne markedly changes and develops throughout the two seasons
