always glad to bring a new reader into the fold! You can also get the books (and the short stories between books 9 and 10) at http://ebooksdirect.dianeduane.com/ It's a bit cheaper (I think) and the money goes more or less straight to Duane.
Glad you liked the mix!

Really glad you liked the mix... Powers know I've been working on it long enough! And you really should read these books. Try http://ebooksdirect.dianeduane.com/ which has all the new millennium editions and several short stories not on amazon yet... pretty sure this site sends the money directly to the authour, too.

So, first up, as a fun note, I sort of know these characters from a sideways POV as I read The Book of Night With Moon/To Visit the Queen INCESSANTLY when I was younger. I always meant to pick up the YW series and see what started it, just never got to it. I will now I promise.

Mix stuff! The love you have for your fandom shines though, though song choice and all the lovely explanations. The song choices fit lyrically but also make you sort of want to bounce around and destroy evil and that's awesome. There's a delicious little irony in having baby Hayden Panettiere singing a song about being a hero on a mix about teenage heroes with powers, I love that. The songs take you on a high and low journey of the characters, and sounded like something they would listen to, to boot!

and three, was that a Dresden Files reference? :D

1) at least you've dipped your toes in the wizardry water... now go to http://ebooksdirect.dianeduane.com/ and read the rest! (This site has all the new millennium versions, so fewer techno-WTH? moments, plus a couple of short stories and a novella that haven't shown up on amazon yet ( ... )
