[ Comes out of the backdoor of 1251 Williams Street with a full garbage bag. Stops when he sees a kid digging through his trash. ]

[Ness looks up, like a deer in the headlights, or a cat suddenly caught in the act.]

".. Can I help you?"

I think I should be the one asking that.

[ His garbage bag does have a half-eaten hamburger! ]

"Well.. You know.. Just doing some "diving" to see what I can find. Nothing wrong with that, is there?"

[Ness wipes the pickle bits from his mouth, speaking with a full mouth.]

"Waf? Foo fone fink fis fizz a faced of foof?"

-Rough translation: "What? Do don't think this is a waste of food?"-

*Gulp*

[Ness swallows the remainder of his late lunch, pushing through the debris of trash on the top of the can.]

"What good does complaining do? And whining is for babies! Me? I just take the direct approach. By the way.."

[Ness puts the lid back on the can, lifting another off of another can with haste.]

"Happen to have any wood laying around? Ya' know, sturdy enough to build a fort for some kids?"
