H20 Challenge:

Who? We're not sure yet... right now it's just NHS, but if more people think it's cool, we'll make it school-wide.

pros: cool idea, definitely an important issue, good way to raise consciousness.

major con: not sure how we're supposed to track what we 'would've' spent - maybe other people are more routine about this than me, but most of my non-water consumption is either at home (paid for by groceries = mom) or socially (alterra) and therefore irregularly. so i'd throw in money, but it'd be hard for me to know how much i'd have spent.

Sure.

I think that's a pretty spiffy idea. But I do have a question or two: 1) We can still eat food, right? Like, it's not just water to live on. That's probably a dumb question, but I need to feel informed. Oh, and I think to ensure that people are donating money, have them donate a quarter or something for every glass of water s/he drinks ... dunno, just a thought. But I'm game!

I'm not cool with the whole lack of milk for 2 weeks.
That calcuim I don't really get anywhere else... except juice, which is a no no. And I don't really buy soda, so I'd be in an Eva-esque situation.

I am in, except for the calcium issue.
I guess I would just have to make more of an effort to eat other forms of dairy, right?
