Leverage, episode 8: in which Parker is sweet
So I feel like I should have liked this episode more than I did. I didn't DISLIKE it, but I enjoyed the most of the other episodes this season a lot more. But here's my reaction post, if anyone's interested!

Parker is smarts. And apparently a former car thief. Which...should that be surprising? Because to me it kind of is, but I didn't really think that cars were her thing.
"Tahiti! I mean--Hawaii!" "Two weeks...ten days!"
Aww, I love completely obnoxious Nate.
Hahahaha, they made an Archie joke!Are they racing for pinks?
Man, Nate's got an awesome crew who can double as a pit crew!
Hardison looks good dirty. Which sounds weird. Oh dear...this is Elio!t's car?
Oh dear, I can picture this not ending well...
For some reason, I can't really get into tonight's episode. I'm trying, though!
Nate is enjoying this a liiiiiiitle too much.
"Get off the facebook!"
Apparently Bill Engvall is a fairly good actor. Hmm. Who knew?
Is Sophie's accent slipping? Whether or not it is, this is an awesome scene. And it's nice to see the non-verbal cues coming back into play.
Hahaha, "I could have done without the ass slap." I love Soph.
Parker's got balls. Why does this dude look so familiar?
Aww, kid left Parker behind! :( Is this guy Kelly? "And they might shoot you a little."
This reaffirms my love for Parker. They like breaking/stealable unbreakable/unstealable things. Aww, Parker's confidence in Hardison's hacking skills.
"I forgot how much fun this is!" They have a little girl working for them??? Parker has a sad.
Okay, halfway through and I still am not enjoying it so much. Perhaps I'll like it more on a second go round?
I have come to the conclusion that Eliot should always carry a baseball bat.
I like how Parker and Hardison are relating to the girl.
I like Parker's interaction with the Asian girl. Shorty? What's her name?
Well, at least they're stealing from rich people?
Aww, poor Parker. Is the girl gonna tell?? She's going to tell, isn't she?
Aaaaaaaand she told. Which makes sense, since that's the only family she knows :(
I hope this was part of the plan.

"Before I stole cars, I was a getaway driver!" Dude, when did Parker meet her mentor?? 13? 14? So how old would that make her?

Man, the Leverage team is the luckiest team around! I love how they all interact! So much.
So um...I teared up at the end. I like Nate/Parker heartfelt conversations. They're all great people! Hahaha excellent exchange at the end.
All in all, it was a...nice episode. Not a great one, but solid. But there some really great moments, like with Parker and Josie, and learning a little more about Parker's past. And it really picked up in the second half. I like how they're revealing everything slowly and how relationships and character development are coming slowly. For me, this was one of the weaker episodes of the season (along with The Reunion Job), but I mostly enjoyed it. And perhaps I'll like it more on another view (I'll probably watch it again when the replay airs at midnight).
Also, does anybody know how season 3 is working? Wikipedia says this season has 16 episodes, but 13 are airing this summer. Are the other three airing in December/January? That seems kind of silly to me, to have a hiatus only to have just three more episodes to air. But the wiki source link says that there are 16 episodes for 2010 so maybe there are more for 2011? In any case, I'm sad that wikipedia says that there are only 5 more episodes for the rest of the summer :(
