I feel guilty he hasn't threaded with Usopp since his intro, so, yeah, we could probably arrange something. Actually, I was wondering if you'd be up for having his hat fall into Usopp's possession somehow, though I'm not 100 percent sure of how to work out the details.

Well, Usopp's only had two threads (not counting dinner) and didn't know Luffy was even around, so it would have been difficult for him to meet Luffy right off the bat anyway. Breakfast is with Brook, but maybe Usopp could meet Luffy sometime else? I really like the idea, but... I dunno how Usopp could get Luffy's hat Declare him First Mate just in case of emergency! but maybe... er. I hate to suggest this, but if you were thinking of dropping Luffy, if we had Luffy disappear in an obvious way (like, um... dying) then Luffy could pass it on to a crewmate to take care of it in case another Luffy comes along and needs it. Or some other dire circumstance where Luffy'd want the hat safe, similar to where he tosses it to Usopp to hold onto during the Krieg fight way back when

Mostly, I feel lame for apping him and then not really playing him to his full potential. While it's nothing some OOC plotting and arrangements can't fix, I'm not so sure I have the energy for it after the killer semester I had. (Which is another issue I have, since I don't want to make any rash decisions just because of something that might be a temporary problem, but...I should listen to my feelings, too, so, blahh. T_T)

I'm glad you're enjoying Spock, though, seriously. *_*

Non-player here would be quite sad to see your Luffy go as he always was a continuous source of delightfully IC-ness, though of course if he's not fun enough anymore I understand. Please let me know if you ever want to play him again in some other game.

The thing is, I still enjoy playing Luffy because he allows me to have the kinds of threads I wouldn't be able to get with most other characters. I just think that after three and a half years he's sort of reached a roadblock in terms of future development and plots, and that's been sort of difficult for me to understand and accept. And I might take you up on that, thank you for the offer! *_*

Just take a deep breath and try again after the break. I'm actually pretty sure next semester will be much easier so you should throw Apollo and Luffy around a bit more before actually doing it. I know you're hesitant because of mixed feelings anyway, so I think it would help to know where you stand.
