Regarding the earthquake in Japan

Should have put this up in my LJ sooner, but I wanted to let people know that I'm okay. I'm with my mom now, and I've gotten in touch with all the friends I have contact info for. My heart goes out to everyone who's further north from here.

Thanks. ;A; Things are still pretty iffy out here, but for now I'm hanging around further south and hoping they can get the reactor situation under control.

I can't recall now what you were doing there-- are you there for school? If so, what is that situation like? Did they do an official break for people so they could get out of the area without worrying about grades?
