Silk Banner for Drakey - Part 2
3. Iron silk and tape it to the printout. Trace the lines using a pencil onto the fabric. Be sure of your marks as the pencil stays and can be seen if you don't use the gutta on them. I realised that Acacia has a silk banner but Drakey doesn't. I think it would be nice for them to process into their invest as Baron and Baroness proceeded by flying banners. A Year
Look at how fast time flies. His birthday was on the 25th and we had a small celebration on the Sunday. He's getting big now. Running around and nattering up a storm. He's since had a haircut and looks even more like a toddler than a baby now.

Tulip Bunting
On the 23rd November St Florian de la Rivierre is holding an event called An Eastern Affair. It's a big one. It's a baronial changeover and my apprentice sister Lil is getting Laurelled. She's running the event and as her persona is Middle Eastern it's all Eastern all the way. Our peer Acacia is stepping up as Baroness along with her partner ( Read more... ) -
Baronial A&S Competition
St Florian Baronial event is tomorrow so I'm entering my current experimentation in it. Waxed fabric and it's use. It's been interesting trying different ways to make waxed fabric and the effects of dipping versus painting, etc. I have to document it all before tomorrow so I'm trying to refind the websites. Benny Coat/Vest
Here's Benny's finished coat/vest. I didn't get a chance to put frogs on it so it stays closed via a safety pin or kilt pin. It looked good on him. A bit big but he's growing like a weed so it will last a while (hopefully). I don't have any photos with him in it at the moment. Great Northern War
