well first you see the cute looking cow standing in a cage, and some guy goes up to it and shoots it in the head with a nonlethal gun. then they string it up by a hind leg, and cut it's throat so that it bleeds to death (this is called "sticking"). I should mention that at this point there is blood everywhere since a cow is about 2.5% blood. Then they cut it's head off, then it is skinned, and the hide is kept for leather. Then they remove all the guts. Then they remove the spinal cord. Then they check everything for signs of disease. if they don't find any, they throw it in a cooler.
well that clears some things up. ok, so nonlethal gun = ? like, is there an exit wound? I'm glad to hear the skin IS used for leather. I wasn't sure on that. Do they save the blood? That last question was buffy-influenced

I didn't think they kept the hide either... but waste not want not I guess...
