Yes, me's still alive!!

I hope y'all doing fine!!
I'm so busy at the moment, I barely find the time to answer E-Mails much less spending time on Livejournal or with my other interests.
I was a week at my mother's place with no internet at all and then I had to work almost 24-7 and now I'm ill (got a cold) but can't stay at home because there's just too much work to do - and the world is an a**hole in general these days.
Okay, I admit I'm maybe having a tiny bit of a problem with turning 30 on Sunday. But just a tiny little bit! ;-))
Then I started to finish the renovation of my living-room. Hell, it seems like I'll never finish with my flat. And if I ever will I'm sure I have to move out the month after because they decided to pull down the building or something.
Anyway, I'm still somehow optimistic about my situation. I'm calm, I'm smiling.
I mean, I got a cold, my cat's got his quarterly cystitis, my bank acount's so empty I could weep, I'm alone, I'm fat, I'm old - but still: Isn't life itself a wonderful thing? Maybe it's because I love Autumn so much. It's always been my favorite season. I know I told you in a previous post about my theory of the universe and that sometimes it gives you presents? Well, Autumn is full of wonderful presents!
Okay, maybe it's just my inner child who's nearer to the surface during this season, but all those colored leaves and berries and flowers and foggy mornings and the smell of wet earth and fungi and chestnuts and stuff - I just love all of it! Even if the sky is grey all day and it's raining cats and dogs, I still love it! :laugh:
So, you see, I'm doing fine and maybe I'll find the time this evening or tomorrow evening to update on what's going on at LJ again. I'm starving, yes I am!! But I don't want to do it between "Tuer und Angel" - as we say in German, translation would be something like "between the door and its frame" - meaning I want to take my time to read and to think about it and then comment :-)
Also I'm dying to comment on the latest spring/summer collections for 2009 as the fashion weeks have just taken place. And I wanna tell you about the concerts I went to. And more about my friends and family life. And about the books I've read and the movies I've seen - and generally: my LJ needs more content, yessir! I know I've abandoned everything for quite some time - and this is just so not on!!
