Maybe it's just one of those weeks. I made Ciabatta (sp?) bread for dinner the other night. I had put the bread on a piece of waxed paper to rise. Well, when I went to put it on the cookie sheet, it was stuck to the waxed paper. So I just slid the whole thing onto the cookie sheet and figured I would bake it that way. Well, in my head I was thinking parchment paper, not waxed. About 5 minutes later I smelled melting wax and walked into a kitchen full of smoke. I quickly took it out and then spent 15 minutes peeling the dough off of the paper. I felt really stupid. Hehe
Oooh, I know what that lapse in logic feels like. "Why didn't I think of this before? It's so easy!" And then disaster strikes, because you happened to overlook something important. :-)
