Oh man, I was at Kmart the other day with my friend and we were both so disturbed by those new Barbies! And don't even get me started on Bratz...I think they should all be burned, quite honestly. Whoever came up with the idea of giving little girls slut dolls to play with?

As for holiday plans, I need to go buy some Christmas cards and make a real effort at actually sending them this year (rather than keeping them around for years...). I still need to go shopping for people too, and that's always an adventure.

That's exactly how we feel about them, I can't get over the moral bankruptcy of our country. And then we have the people who declare everything evil and focus on destroying people's lives instead of doing something rational and sane about shit like that. ---And of course what really frightens me is how many people actually do buy the things and give them to little girls.

Agh! Don't remind me! Actually, DO, because I do the same thing every year. I have to find everyone's addresses and send out cards. (And it'd be great if we could send photos, but if I try to do that too, I guarantee no one will ever see those cards.)

It's so disgusting! I mean, I had Barbies when I was a kid but that was back when they were normal Barbies, rather than "Clubbin' Skank Barbie" or something like that. Ugh. I guess this just means that if I ever have a daughter, she'll be getting my old Star Wars action figures and real toys like that. I had more fun with those anyway.

I halfway considered some kind of picture too, until I realized I have no decent ones and that would take too much time/effort.

I'm hyped. I can't exactly start doing anything, but sending cards yet (gift shopping is a bit too heavy on the sore ankle ;)) but enthusiastic never the less!
