I'm somewhat meh about the whole facebook/twitter connect thing. I would mind it putting a link to public posts onto my twitter and facebook stream. The comments thing is a little crazy, though. I'm glad to see that comments to protected entries automatically default to "do not crosspost", since that would be a glaring security hole ( Read more... )

My posting is down but not because I'm using FB or Twitter. I just have less to say....

Yeah, I've regularly had that problem since first getting an lj. Part of it is the thought that I don't really have anything insightful to share and, thus, should be quiet. :)

My friends' postings have slowed down a lot on LJ, too. I certainly don't post as much, but yeah, I feel like I have less to say. Or maybe I spend so much time doing the little updates with Twitter and FB that I don't feel the need for an elaborate post unless something specific IS on my mind.

I haven't tried to see if my public posts link on FB, but they did before. I see the little "repost" buttons below... I'm sure there will be times when I want to use it, but most of the time, no.
