Oy. I'm mighty impressed, but the latency is a killer :)

Yeah, I've optimized it about as far as it will go, but you just can't get around the need to do a round tip to the server every time you issue a command.

Can you make the Loading banner a little bit less ... distracting? :)

Let me know what you're seeing. One problem in developing this is that sitting at home on my cable modem hitting a server that's 10 miles away I don't get a lot of latency, so except on the initial load I never even see the loading banner.

Heh, neat. Any chance of supporting the roguelike commandset, though? It's much better on laptops.

There's a command in one of the menus to do it, or you can just hit the @ key
