In which our heroine really hasn’t played Nethack in a long time, because she forgot an easy way around her whole Crap I Don’t Have a Means of Levitation problem-and in which she finally clears not only Fort Ludios, but also the Castle and Medusa as well.

if you hit a leather golem with a cockatrice corpse, it’ll turn into a stone golem!

yeah, works for all kinds of golems.

fond of the ring of levitation + ring of free action combo

why not the ring of conflict? :)

considering the virtues of a cloak of displacement versus the heavily blessed and enchanted elven cloak

but cloaks of displacement only give you magic cancellation of 2 (while elven cloaks gives you 3).

The question may remain moot if I don't find another magic marker or a scroll of charging! But right now my AC is -38, so I am certainly not hurting for that--and since I've genocided L's and R's and mind flayers and master mind flayers and have another genocide scroll handy, I suspect a distinct lack of golden nagas in my near future.

.... though, no. I'd better take out P's so I can take out the green slimes!
