I loved this movie which aired recently on Channel 13 (PBS) in New York City! Olivia Wilde is a wonderful actress with one of the most interesting faces in film today.

I love your icons, too. I snagged #12, 13 and 22 and will credit you in my LJ userpics when I use them! Thank you for sharing.
Love, max

Yes, she did a wonderful job as Jane Austen, didn't she? :)

Thank you - I'm glad you like them!

So pretty! Meming, because my computer crashed and I can't save anything on my temp, lol.

I share your feelings on the movie, too. I thought it was beautiful, though I cried quite a bit. At first, I couldn't really imagine anyone to really personify Austen (I haven't seen Becoming Jane yet), but Olivia really sort of brought me into her world and made me believe that's exactly who she was. ♥

Aw, that's too bad about your computer crashing... But I'm glad you like these. :)

I thought Olivia was a much better Jane than Anne Hathaway was in Becoming Jane. This version seemed to truer to Jane's life and what she might have felt at the time... I highly doubt she was in love with Tom LeFroy...

I don't really think she was in love with him either. I don't know anything about Becoming Jane yet (nor the book it's based on), but I get the feeling from it that it's more of a Hollywood-esque look at her life, if that makes any sense :)
