Thank you very much. :) I was originally just reading the end of the novel for myself, but once I added excerpts to the picspam I couldn't stop! Austen creates such gems, and I hope everything flows in this little homage. I just loved the series and its sweet ending. :)
I'm always loved Gwenyth Paltrow's Emma, but I'm excited to see this! I think Emma and Mr. Knightley are my favorite Austen couple as well as one of my favorite best friends/turned lovers couples, besides Anne and Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables! ♥
I have to admit my love for Emma wavers a bit - at the very least it's not a top favourite, though I enjoy it. Romola and Jonny made me swoon in a way I hadn't before.
Oh I love Anne and Gilbert! I've always thought of them as more like Lizzy and Darcy, how they can't stand each other at first and then Gilbert loves Anne before she realizes she loves him in return. But they do have a wonderful friendship foundation, too... like Emma and Knightley.
I hope you enjoy this version, too, once you have a chance to see it!
So adorable! I had seen that part in the trailer so I was waiting for it to come... I figured it would be connected to Emma not wanting to leave her father. I love how much more we got to see after the proposal/"happily ever after"!
Oh I'm so glad you liked the picspam! And I'm glad you've found an Austen adaptation you can love. ;) (Perhaps you can read the book too?)

I think that was my favourite scene of the whole thing. So utterly melodramatic and adorable.
I'm totally bookmarking this :D
