Hi
I'm 17, currently living in Florida, USA and planning on moving to the Netherlands after high school and attending a university.
Any similar stories to share? Or tips and advice, I've never been to the country, but I will be visiting sometime in the fall.

Bring clothes suitable to warm and cold weather. Autumn can be a bit whimsical to say the least.

You'll feel at home: it's flat and rains a lot and can be fairly humid, but without the heat.

Seriously, though, I love it here. Definitely look into Utrecht. Major university city and centrally located.

There are several universities which teach courses only in English. The Roosevelt Academy in Middelburg is one of them. It isn't a typical Dutch university though, it's VERY internationally orientated and based on the American/English system. And they accept only 200 students a year, of which 30% has to be foreign. It's an option to look into though.

And keep in mind that an American high school doesn't allow acces to all universities.
