The matter I wished to speak to you about the other night has, I believe, escalated slightly. Mr Ascalon has a wish to transfer out of my class. I did not realise offering remedial lessons would cause such an uproar.

The best course of action for the moment, I think, would be for you to meet with the boy, and we may proceed from there. I confess I do not have the time for a more official meeting at the moment, although if you believe the matter is pressing, I am certain I could arrange something.

OOC: He is moping over his wife. He does not actually have anything stopping him from going to a meeting except for that :P

Ah, I see. Yes, I will be speaking to him shortly. As his Head of House, I apologize for his words to you, but with any luck, we will be able to reach some form of understanding and compromise. If there are terms you would wish to reach, I am more than willing to look into them.

I would not say that I wish to reach terms, as such. If he wishes to remain in my class, he will have to take remedial lessons, or pull his mark up on his own by the next homework assignment. But I am sure he realises this - as always, I made it clear at the beginning of this school year.
