Today was quite lovely. the three best parts were waking up with someone I love, having breakfast in a semi-private dining room with my parents and hearing them thank my husband for being such a good man, and ice skating near the place I married that man in a beautiful pavilion with Sherlock Holmes watching ( Read more... )

Neither did questioning the urchins selling ha'penny broadsheets on the corner in the fog and smoke of the early evening. An elusive lot they are !

I like my Sony DSC-W1 -- unfortunately the successors (like the DSC-W30, etc.), while slimmer, do not use AA batteries, which I like because it avoids the headaches of proprietary batteries.

To prolong the magic, someone just gave me a mint copy of the Mancini soundtrack. I can now have a Mag Wildwood moment of my own WITH the correct music.

i have a cd of mancini with that track on it 'something for cat', maybe? as well as some pink panther tracks and 'charade', 'baby elephant walk' etc. like a greatest hits of sorts. want mp3s?
