Contagion of the Filthcow! martinjdekay August 30 2007, 14:04:31 UTC

This is how it ends, not with a bang or whimper, but with a "moo".

Don't fear the reaper. But remember to bring BBQ sauce.

my family also threatens that you must wash the cow if it's before show time because they don't want their newly washed and presentable cows getting all messed up by icky human hands covered in fried dough and whatnot.

Have you seen the farmers preening their livestock before the big showdowns? They have these stock-like apparatuses which they prop the animal's head in, and then they go to town with all manner of implements. Wash-day is serious business at the fair!

yeah man. we saw sheep while we were there, one was being sheered carefully for the next day and another was waiting, elevated in this harness thinger with his head just-so... looked a little worried in a funny sort of way.

I can tell you exactly where it is, and you would prefer to go on your own as you may prefer the sign with the pig, goat or sheep in the place of the cow which are on nearby barns.

Please do. I'd definitely go for the goat.

I like to lick my palms after petting the bovine.
