Looking for feedback
With a plethora of projects in the wings, I'm writing up notes aplenty. I think I need more than word processing documents and paper to track it all though, so I'm looking at software. What I have *now* is Microsoft Works, which came with the laptop.
What I'm thinking of using is Open Office instead of Works (or upgrading to MS Office), and ( Read more... ) -

Impatient person that I am, I went outside with a flashlight for a quick look. I didn't even bother opening the demarc. The wiring OUTSIDE the demarc, going up, (I'm on the 3rd floor) is clearly cat 1. There are two sets leading out, one's mine and one's ...well probably not mine. I just went into the crawlspace. Whoever finished it off made some unusual choices...corrugated cardboard instead of drywall for the angled ceiling part (!), an electric outlet (with no wall plate, but that's easily remedied if I'm in the mood to do so) for additional temporary lighting if needed, and vinyl flooring (easy to wipe clean before I ( Read more... )
