Reflections

When I see someone suffering, I know that I can't do the work, that the best I can do is be a supporter and encourager when they realize what work needs to be done. But should I request/suggest that it be done? Isn't that still criticism? I'm thinking that being a living example is the only safe answer, but then, what if the other person's row is ( Read more... )

Backbiting, and criticism are both forms of injustice, and we are supposed to do all that we can to overcome injustice, so as I see it, asking to not be criticized is neither a reflection on you, or the person who is criticizing, but merely an opportunity for both parties to be just, and advance spiritually.
