My summer job has been great in some ways but they want me to go full-time and really do need a full-time person. I just can't be that person, what with a 50-ish hour/wk school load this Fall. So, I gave my notice (effective mid-Aug) and offered to train whoever they hire to replace me. I also got in touch with someone at school for an on-campus

Well, my pentecostal church ladies are all very personable and nice. They never make me feel uncomfortable or excluded. Not overly preachy either. Of course, they are black pentecostal as opposed to white. Honestly, I don't know if there's a difference in how they do their thing or not. I love my church ladies. They are wonderful.

Wow...the clinic seems like a great idea if they will not be trying to push people into religious involvement. Having the opportunity to be prayed over is fine if the person wants it and asks for it. I don't blame you for being a bit wary. I would definitely ask some more questions before deciding how much (or how little) you'd like to be involved.

Sounds like things are going well for you though! 50 hours a week of school! Yikes! You really are super woman!
