In the future, would it be possible to be given a due date on a project that consists of neither of the phrases "end of day" or "ASAP" nor the word "tomorrow"?

Particularly when the project has not been mentioned before, and when it requires integrating Microsoft's not-quite-yet-released compiler with a system written 15-20 years ago?

ahh gotta love those. I had one of those about a month ago " It was a 15 page report with about 20 people per page that needed data entry corrections done by the end of the next day. Luckily I was able to pull the trump" we don't have the staff.. could YOU do it for me" card.. worked well;)
