wooooooow. I don't even know where to begin responding. I'm sorry you've been sick/cranky/blah lately, but hopefully you'll get the hang of things. I'm glad your kitties and puppy are ok, I can't imagine how stressful this must be for them. your husband sounds like a sweetheart, I'm sad I never got to meet him. ^_^ you need to get ahold of a camera and post some pictures or something! of where you live, and the sity, and your pretty new ring. :D it's good to start hearing from you again! now you have no excuse not to update more often. ^_^

whenever you can, you should really post a photo of that ring. I bet it is ridiculously unique and cool. my engagement ring will probably end up on my right middle finger after the wedding because it is too wide to wear on the same finger as a wedding band.

I know what you mean about not trusting the military and getting your hopes up, but I will certianly hope for/with you that he gets promoted. promotions are the win!

also, you should go buy a few jugs of distilled water instead of using bottled water for your pets. that, or get a kickass water filter.

also, kaina is FOURTEEN now?! GEEBUS that makes me feel old. i seem to remember her as the little girl who called people inanimate objects as insults. aka "you're such a chair". still, I know that when I was 14 if you had offered me a pass to live in Germany I would've taken it in a heartbeat.

Kaina is 14. And, she has BOOBS! Isn't that scary? That 4 year old who hatched out of a circus peanut is long gone. So sad, so sad...

No, no, you both are one year off. She's 13.
But she does have boobs.
Gross, we should not be saying that.

Also, I think I'm totally buying a huge stock of distilled water jugs for pets and tea-making.

I still remember the little redheaded toddler, my how time flies. And actually, Ikea is super cheap here too. There is one in Richmond, its where we're getting all the stuff for the house once we get it. We love Ikea :). And yeah, stop talking about the girls boobs....freaks.
