Nothing noteworthy has happened, other than I had my birthday. Oh, what's that? You didn't wish me happy birthday? Don't worry - NEITHER DID MY FAMILY. Well, that isn't *exactly* accurate. No one called, so neither my father nor my brother contacted me in any way. My mother only left me a MySpace Glitter Graphic. Not even a personalized comment. My ( Read more... )

Did you say anything about your birthday? No? Then OF COURSE I didn't say anything! I would have remembered. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, in any case. ^_^ And fuck yeah, Harvey Birdman game! I wanted it so badly, but once I found out Stephen Colbert isn't in it, I'm a little unsure... And hoorays for tea!

Oh, and in case I didn't make it clear, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!

Oh you silly Kate, you're so cute I want to squeeze you.
I have been lazy and not played the game yet, so once I do I will let you know whether you'll have a MIGHTY NEED for it or not. -_^
Have you seen Honest Tea around where you are? It's excellent. It comes in a variety of flavors in both glass and plastic, and now they are making juice. And for a small, organic geared company, it's relatively inexpensive. I think it's the same price, or maybe 20 cents more than, Snapple.

I think I have seen it, I just haven't thought to buy any. I'll have to check it out, now that I have a recommendation. ^_^

Oh don't worry, like I was telling everyone at work (and should have told Kate SO KATE READ THIS ALSO), if I didn't tell you, it's not like you would know. So no worries there. Just, you know, people that watched me get born/have had me in their lives since they were born should PROBABLY KNOW. (I am still mad with my family)

OMG I AM SUCH A DOUCHEBAG. I am so sorry. I started a new job and things have been so freakin' busy. But if it's any consolation, as soon as you're settled in Texass (extra S intentional), me and Noah are gonna fly out and see you. I already told Rob. He's cool with it. He started his new job today, too. It looks like it's gonna be pretty sweet. Sorry I didn't IM you when you were on earlier. I was getting ready for work and running out the door.

Tomorrow me and Michelle are going to Greensboro to see Orson Scott Card (author of Ender's Game) and get books signed. WOO!

HAPPY FREAKIN BIRTHDAY HOMEGIRL WOOO GET CRUNK

lol

It's late. I'm tired.

TEXAS?!?! THERE'S NOTHIN IN TEXAS BUT STEERS AND QUEERS AND BOY, YOU DON'T LOOK MUCH LIKE NO STEER!

Hooray for Orson Scott Card, too. His book terrified me, but also made me homesick since Ender's family lives in NC.

Oh and, at least you felt bad. SOME PEOPLE (like the ones I am related to) would probably be like "Oh, what? Eh well."

HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY! fvangel13 July 17 2008, 03:36:20 UTC
I am also a douchebag. I knew it was your birthday, I even told David "hey, today is Katherine's birthday", and didn't even get on the compy to tell you that I knew it was your birthday, and to wish you a happy one. *kicking myself now*. I love you Katherine, and wish you a happy belated birthday; I'm sorry I didn't let you know I was thinking of you on the day of = \.
Texas is closer than Germany, right? I can't wait to see you again!

It's ok...I'm more upset with my family than anything. Although I must admit, you and Erin were my sadcake icing. Haha.
Texas is much closer. Oh god, is it ever closer. Imagine, if you will, sitting in a stale-ass plane, going over the ocean, for 8-10 hours, not counting the connecting flight between NC and whatever international airport you fly out of, and the layover...
HEY did my family ever give you the stuff I sent? If not, you'll probably have to call them.

PS: I always remember your birthday, but never the half one. I guess because you're the only person I've heard of with one. -_-

That's OK, I can't expect anyone to remember two birthdays for me, that's excessive! I'm just glad you remember the one : ). I do need to call your fam, or myspace them. Everytime I drive by their neighborhood I think about it, but don't want to just drop in.
