it's definitely the same guitar that angus young played, same with tommy iomi. the exact same model. with all the add-ons, like the maple backing and shit.

no rian, sorry, it's definitely old now. go find a hobby other than arguing over lj.

Looks like an Epiphone G-400, $415 new.

SGs traditionally don't have maple tops, it's too bright of a wood for such a thin bodied guitar. The Gibson ones are usually mahogany but the Epiphone is probably a mix of mahogany and alder to cut down the cost.

It's not a maple top, it's a maple back. I'm not sure what the finish on the top is, but yes it is a thin bodied guitar. It's very, very light compared to my previous guitar.

I'm pretty sure it's an SG though, but you sound more knowledgable about guitars than I do. I'm into playing it more than the technical stuff.

Apparently you were right, it's a G-400, but supposedly that's a version of the SG according to that.
