OK, so I've gotten some suggestions for some cities I could consider moving to.  What resources can I use that will help me learn more about the cities? So far I have been looking at www.city-data.com

I would suggest forums, or even livejournal communities!

i second the LJ communities. also, wikipedia is usually very informative?

I'll give you all the info you need to move here! :] Hehe...but yes, LJ communities can be pretty informative if it is a bigger city because you can ask specific questions and get lots of different opinions and input.

I've thought about moving to Canada actually, but I wonder how difficult it is as an American. How far are you from Toronto? I'm convinced I would find my future husband in Canada, a hockey player with a cute accent and scruffy beard. Yum!
