see, i just completely disagree. i think ya'll are way to sensitive... christmas trees have nothing to do with jesus, they have to do with santa claus who is a secular figure..yes, the roots are christian, but come on
this pc thing has gone too far to the point when its like ridiculous...

I believe that, in that case, you are still favoring one culture over another.

If I went to a public school in a predominately Jewish area, for example, I know I would feel uncomfortable if the school were to itself endorse a Jewish cultural symbol, even if not the religion. I would feel out of place. Unfortunately, I can't make a perfect comparison because there is no equivalent of Santa or similar in other religions, but I think you know what I'm getting at.

It's a simple question: do we follow the Establishment Clause, or don't we? The Constitution is clear, and it shouldn't be ignored.
