...that all I ever do on LJ is rant. Really, I'm happy enough, it's just that it's not as easy to write about how *well* things are going.  Plus, it doesn't give me the chance to write about the various methods I would employ of cheerfully beating people up if given the chance. :D

So.

Oh god kids are an absolute handful even when they are not your own! The first week I ran a chalet with 5 of the 'snotgobblers' (as we fondly call them in chalethost land!) and while they were lovely, lovely children, me and the other host desperately needed a break from the constant 'HelenHelenHelenHelenHelenDaveDaveDaveDaveHelenDaveHelenDaveDaveHELENHELENDAAAAVE!!!' Oh. And the mess. Kids need to learn that the bedroom carpet is not the place to put the toothpaste. I had to scrub that carpet 3 times before they got the message!

BUT. They did put on an awesome entertainment at the end. And the whole group said they really wanted to come back later in the season. And I would actually look forward to it (and sleep the whole week before to summon enough energy to deal with the filth!!)

Also I meant to say that people who get offended when you put your children as priority should be punched in the face. Especially when you have such small babies. Lots of support for you here :D xx
