dream poem

[neural_girl]

I woke up with this poem in my head the other day... I wonder if I'm plagiarizing Ogden Nash at all. It sounds kind of like something he'd write.

Now I'll be admittin'
I've rightly thought that
What once was a kitten
Is later a cat.
But I don't now think
Where once I thunk
That a baby skink
Becomes a skunk.
