Sacked or not?

As some of you may know, I was threatened with the sack on Tuesday. This is because my production figures are generally poor and on this day they were particularly bad. I'm really sorry to hear that. But the bright side of thing is that if you are sacked then you at least you get out of the job which you hate. But I will keep my fingers crossed that you don't get sacked

Are you in the union? If not get in there they can protect you if they try to dismiss you for it.

If your in the union already speak to your rep.

Are you still with the Revenue? What building do you work in?

Yes, I'm still at the Revenue. I'm at Grayfield. No, I'm not in the union and I don't really think it's worth joining as I'm only there for another four months.

Sounds like their monitoring system's messed up somewhere along the line. Is that plausible.

I'd be surprised if they can sack you on the basis of that day now, but it'd probably be a good idea to keep your nose extra clean for the next wee while.

The monitoring system is too crude to be messed up but our workload is very random.
