100 upper body reps! 101, actually. And no LJ posts for over a year! IAFWA!
In other news:

I am currently taking a break from working, after holding down a six month IT contract in Livingston.
I am no longer going to the gym, after going for about four months, as I got out of the habit with my excessive commuting schedule. I am considering going ( Read more... )

"I've now got a fully working Catan board generator in Visual Basic (apart from a bit of counter ordering, which is trivial) and I've done some core maths work on corresponding mouse and piece locations."

I wanna play.. NOW! :)

"No progress on Project Citizenship. I should really get my act together there as well."

Get your ass in gear. Then you can merry me, import me, then divorce me in a couple of years. Yeah moving back to Edi.

Glad everything is good on your end!

"I wanna play.. NOW! :)" Easy there hon! Long way to go yet. Ironically, I've had an ASP board generator for years but I no longer have an ASP enabled web site. Wanna play online Catan? Go to JSettlers. I am 'rorschach' there and can frequently be found in games called 'osolomio'.

"Merry" you? I thought we made merry a few times already ;)

Keep me informed about you return. I hope for immanence.

Well I just play tested a certain new RPG by a major games publishing company, due for release later this year. It feels very much like a certain popular MMORPG. I can't possibly imagine why.

It was... erm... interesting. I have a suspicion that 2nd ed players aren't likely to enjoy it. Izzy certainly hated it. At least it keeps up with the tradition that players spend a lot of the time in heated argument with their DM. Er, did I say DM? I meant GM.

Anyway, good to hear you can do 101 sit-ups. It's more than I can do.

Its not situps, its reps. Like with weights and shit. I could probably only do about 20 situps. I really should do some as well.

Isn't there already a WoW RPG? Or do you mean a computer version? I though there was one of those as well to be honest. Sounds like a matter for the lawyers.

No, I meant D&D 4th ed. It's very much like World of Warcraft. I suspect they had in mind making rules that would transfer well to a MMORPG, sometime in the future.

Geez. Would it matter if I did? Clearly no-one reads it. It says in the post that this was the first update for over a year and that was nearly a year ago. Plus there is a link for off topic posts (like this one) (that no-one ever uses) on my info page. Watsamatta? FB not good enough for you? I phoned and texted you over the weekend and you didn't get back to me. Am I to assume that you never use your phone? Sorry for the irate tone but I'm posting this first thing Monday morning.

That's all fine. You can unfriend me if you want, or whatever it is you're going to do and I won't take it personally. Actually, now that I think about it I'm not so sure. I know a number of people who hardly ever update their journal and only have an account in order to post non-anonymously and be able to read restricted posts when the posters allow them to. That's pretty much what I do. Is there actually anything wrong with that? If you don't want me to read your friends only posts that's your choice but if you're only disallowing from doing it because you want your info page to look marginally tidier then that seems a bit off.
