If it's any further consolation, I used to be even more quiet and introverted than you...it is possible to become more outgoing with effort, if you want to. Not that it's necessary, because there is certainly nothing wrong with being introverted, however if this is something you are hoping to work on and improve I have confidence that you will be able to do it. :)
