I'm glad you liked it, and unbelievably flattered. I get really nervous about staying in character, so I appreciate your comment very much! <3
I will definitely try not to take too long. And thank you for sticking with me!!! :)

I love your dialog, and I'm so happy to have more of this 'verse. You've teased us with this mystery of how Cas ended up in Hell, and the role reversal between Dean and Cas is just delicious.
And Cas has a mother, and since as an angel he only had his father, and one that was behind the scenes at that, the scenes between Nora and Cas are so poignant.
Sam seems happy, he's settled, had a great life, and still no matter his age, he's always going to be Dean's little brother.
I'm really curious to find out why Cas has such negative feelings towards the angel Castiel.
Like I told you in the beta notes, when you come back, you come back with a bang.
Happy writing,
Laurie

Thank you so, so much for all your help here, and for being patient with my turtle-esque writing pace. You have no idea how much better you help make this thing :)
This has been my little set up chapter, so hopefully I'll be able to build off everything from here on out. And, ya know, finally start to answer some questions.
Thank you again for all your help, and also for the advice concerning Cas's "gift". Always appreciated, homie ;)

And I really feel for Dean in his struggles here. The balance between angel and human and his frustration to find out what happened to Castiel along with the complete reversal of their roles here.
And Poor Cas! He's clearly broken but trying to hold it together barely.

Thanks for sticking with it! It makes me very happy to see names I recognize in the comments, because then I know I don't totally suck... :)
