I have always wondered what type of person buys the Telegraph, the Daily Express and the People newspapers amongst others. I found out on yesterday that the people who buy the Telegraph are the ones who get a free large bottle of water in WHSmiths along with it. You do quite often get a free bottle of water with the Independent, too. I fail to see how an annoyingly loud insect could influence someone's choice of newspaper, but there you go...

Scrap metal merchants exist to be the setting for the opening scenes in Casualty, so that people can imagine the really gory accidents that are about to happen. Before it turns out that the crane driver's son gets impaled on a javelin during a PE lesson instead.
