It's like that Leo comic. Very limited space, sometimes just one frame. Easy to consume quickly, especially when they make me chuckle.

We have not chatted in a long time! How is everything treating you up in Chicago? I'm getting set to write my proposal. Ugh.

I've had my first student talk presentation September last year. I still have to get my thesis committee. It's been tough because a lot of people up here are either electrophys or behavior. I'll have that done by this month. I already got my thesis aims that I would like to pursue and got that supplementary grant for the RO1 grant we got. I guess it's now the formalities I have to take care of and to get this damn preliminary data. The antibodies for my proteins of interest are so crappy. It took about 3 months to get that settled. @_@ Its overwhelming. (Semi rant over :P)

So you are writing the proposal? I wish you luck but you'll be okay. How's things otherwise?
