Yesterday I freaked out a bit when I was getting fairly hard and fairly regular braxton hicks. It calmed down after a while but I did have a bit of a panic. I've just gone to the toilet and discovered a fair amount of mucus and blood. I've just looked over my archives and with Declan exactly one week after my bloody show was when my waters broke

take declan with you. they have facilities to cope with children.

i agree. the hospital can give you meds to stop the onset of early labour, if that is what is happening. its probably nothing to worry about but better safe than sorry. get dan home from work if need be. x

Ring the damn hospital Fern! If you have to lug Declan, then so be it. Mucous is fine, bloody show, I dunno about. Better to be safe sweets.

I'm able to take mr D. for a while if you need. but my house is very cold.. so he'd need thermal clothing, heh.

I'm glad you called the hospital and are going in to get checked out... I don't have kids, but I do know that every pregnancy is different so try not to worry yourself (I know that's easier said than done, though!).

I really hope everything's okay with you and the little one. *hugs* :)
