It seems like very banal information, but I just learned that cell phones actually transmit your location every 30 to 60 minutes (in order for the central to find you). I also learned that cell phones can cause pacemakers to go amok. This combined with the common knowledge that cell phone hertzien waves cause cancer scare me. Not for me, for I

My cell phone gives me the option to turn off the location-transmitting feature, which is convenient. The pacemaker thing is pretty scary, though.
I honestly think rates of cancer must be going to skyrocket soon, with all the things we use that apparantly cause it...
