This is the episode in which Diddy (Sean Combs, and formerly known as Puff Daddy, then P. Diddy, now just "Diddy") plays a lawyer that Horatio does not get along with.

STORY LINE
Horatio's team investgates the murder of Derek Powell's fiancee NADINE WALCOTT, but their case is sidetracked when Delko, who has evidence against KEN TABER, their prime suspect, is thrown into jail by the INS for failing to address the issue of his forged birth certificate--and he gets no help from his natural father, ALEX SHAROVA...
[KEN TABER] 30-35, athletic, a smooth liar, Ken is first seen somewhat embarrassed when Ryan and Natalia point out that the boat he's refinishing is the getaway vehicle for a murder--and he claims he thought it was abandoned and is fixing it up for a quick sale. Later, hard evidence fingers Ken as the underwater shooter whose target was Nadine Walcott, but Ken proves smug and defiant when the evidence becomes inadmissable. Though Ken seems impervious to psychological threats, he eventually confesses to being hired to do the hit when he faces life-threatening physical distress...GUEST STAR
[ALEX SHAROVA] 65, distinguished, well-spoken, fit, a man of youthful vigor, someone BELIEVABLE AS GENUINELY RUSSIAN, somewhat mysterious, Sharova is confronted by Horatio with evidence that he ordered a hit on Eric Delko--who, as it turns out, is Sharova's son. He refuses to acknowledge Delko as his son, and seems to have something to hide, but after a DNA test proves conclusively that Delko is his son, it's also revealed that Sharova is not a Russian, as everyone thought, but a man with several aliases who is actually one Allen Sharp from Lubbock, Texas--a fact that "Sharova" reluctantly needs to use to bail his son out of trouble with the INS...GUEST STAR
[ABBY LAWSON] 25, a extremely attractive young woman in a lime green two piece bathing suit, Abby is dancing to the party music coming from Derek Powell's yacht as she pulls alongside it in her friend Jim's speedboat. Invited onboard the yacht, Abby parties hard until she and her friend hold the entire party at gunpoint and rob them of all their money and valuables. Later, brought in for questioning, Abby gives it all up when she realizes that she's not only caught red-handed, but she could be facing a murder charge as well...GUEST STAR
[NADINE WALCOTT] 28, AFRICAN AMERICAN, beautiful, confident, playful, with a sense of humor, Nadine is Derek Powell's (SEAN COMBS) fiancee, who clearly loves him very much. During a party on Derek's yacht, Nadine is amused by a young couple who pulls up alongside the yacht in their speedboat, and invites them to come aboard to party with them...GUEST STAR (on autopsy table)
[GREGOR KASPAROV] 40, AUTHENTICALLY RUSSIAN and with a terrifyingly calm demeanor, reputedly with Russian mob ties, smooth and unflappable, Kasparov allegedly hired Kate Hawkes to kill Eric Delko. He's impressed with Yelina's offer to finish the job, and amused and unnerved to discover she's holding a gun on him... GUEST STAR. MUST SPEAK RUSSIAN
[JUDGE SOBEL] Mid 40s. A no-nonsense Southern woman, this judge presides at Ken Taber's trial, and questions Derek Powell about Eric Delko's credibility in light of the recent developments... GUEST STAR. SEEKING AUTHENTIC SOUTHERNER
[JIM FINLEY] 27, this appealing young man is driving his speedboat with his friend, Abby Lawson, who gets them both invited onto Derek Powell's yacht when she starts dancing to the party music coming off the yacht. After mingling with the guests, Jim holds the guests at bay with his .38 handgun and proceeds, with Abby's help, to rob them.sptv050769.. GUEST STAR
[LEONARD] 31, this friend of Derek's partying on the yacht is so amused by the unknown young woman's antics on another boat, he asks them to join them on the yacht, with tragic results... GUEST STAR OR CO-STAR
[BRENT] Mid 20s. This ME technician working for Tara is summarily fired when he prioritizes her work based on his own opinion... CO-STAR. PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES
We get to see Eric's biological father, who did, in fact, order the hit on his son. DNA proves he's the father. Eric is put in jail by the INS because his birth certificate was fraudulent. But it turns out that "Alex Sharova" isn't even Russian, that it's one of his many aliases, and his real name is Allan Sharp and he's from Lubbock, Texas. This information clears Eric, because in the U.S., if one of your parents is a U.S. citizen, you are automatically one too, even if you were born in a different country.
I hope we get some E/C comfort scenes. Apparently, 7.14 is the episode in which Calleigh might "appreciate those around her more," aka JUMP ERIC'S BONES (HOPEFULLY. or at least realize she wants to have his babies, and enjoy the baby-making process). PERFECT opportunity for some E/C moments.
Of course, in my dream version of this episode, Eric is released from jail, and Calleigh decides to sympathize with Eric's experience being the one in handcuffs...mmmm
